SCS Software let us know they received the Renault License for ETS2! Now it comes to 3 licensed trucks. SCS hopes, when ETS2 is released, more brands will join for a license. SCS celebrates the Renault license by publishing a wallpaper with a nice Renault!

SCS software gives an update in reply of the many comments on their blog related with truck brands. SCS says it's not only good news. SCS is working on converting Volvo and Mercedes into Vailant en Majestic again, as in the previous games from them. There is another big brand whereby the licenses aren't finished yet, but they don't let us know which brand.
SCS has some good news as well. After the release there will be more updates and interesting stuff in ETS2, but that's still a surprise...

A while ago, SCS published beautiful images from license plates in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
The last couple of weeks, SCS Software was busy developing license plates for all countries in Euro Truck Simulator 2. So now, all trucks and every AI vehicle have new license plates. SCS had a lot of comments on the older ones, because they didn't correspond with the reality. Now SCS solved it by making new, realistic license plates. The new system is well optimized than the older system, so it's possible to have many combinations.
And again, SCS Software has released two new screenshots featuring Euro Truck Simulator 2. These screenshots show you the Depth of Field generated by the 3D engine the game is build on. SCS Software will need some more time to improve the graphics on the pedestrians, but they chose to show the unfinished sprites themselves already.
