Last week, new details were published about the new patch of Euro Truck Simulator 2. To dwell on with this, we had the idea to make screenshots with the new features. We want to tell you something more about some features and their functions.
Startpage:
Everyone knows the startpage by now. SCS Software didn't made huge changes, but you can see some new features.
Modify your profile:
In summary 'Profiles', there is also a new option added. Namely: 'Modify'. Here you can modify multiple details about your profile. Like: Sex, Company name, Truck, Company logo & enable or disable Mods (in Mod-map). It's also possible, to register with an online account to SCS Software. You need to have a validated, legal keygen! After registering, your in-game profile will be connected with your online account. For now, you only can submit your driver picture and license plate, those will be synchronized automatically after starting the game. We couldn't use this yet, because it's still a bèta-version.
Gameplay Settings:
New updates for 'Gameplay Settings' as well. Now you can set more to your taste. The existing list is expanded with i.a next items: Brakeforce, Automatic retarder & enginebrake. For some settings you even can pick the strenghth. The screen below, shows a complete view at 'Gameplay Settings'
[UPDATE] Screenshot Manager:
'Screenshots Manager' is a brand new feature. Here, you can see all screenshots that you made and you can upload them by option. You have the possibility, as it seems, to upload up to 5 screenshots. As indicated on the screenshot below, will your screens be uploaded on 'World of Trucks Portal' (www.worldoftrucks.com). Note: We have no idea how this system works!
Truckbrand Volvo:
After lots of negotiations, Volvo is finally convinced by SCS Software. The Swedish brand has given his license, which will be updated in the next patch. There are now 5 licensed trucks, only Mercedes Benz & Iveco haven't give their permission (yet). Negotiations are still going, so maybe later on... Down below, you can see some screenshots from the updated 'Volvo' truck.
Note: Previous information comes from a Bèta-version of ETS2.
We can't guarantee, this all will be included in the next patch!
