In a few days, the new patch for Euro Truck Simulator 2 will be released. Lots of improvements are made, there are still plenty of ideas, so there will be more improvements still to come! patch V1.3.x. Which options that will be, isn't announced yet.
But,to not disappoint your expectations 2 remarkable changes are applied in game. At first, the modelers should be thanked for there work. But, here is the great news. SCS Software presents, with proud, 2 new official truck brands. It contains now, 6 out of the 7 largest European truck brands.
Quality and reality are the first priorities. Not everyone uses mods, but the mod everyone is looking for is the 'Real Logo Mod'. But it's hardly necessary, because the negotiations with Mercedes-Benz are still open. We wait and shall see...
A second, important step of SCS Software is adding a 'Product Key Verification'. The Product Key you have right now, just checks if it matches with the Product Key on your CD-Rom/Download, so you can install and play it. By entering your Product Key, your install manager will contact a database where all Products Keys are stored, which will check if the Product Key really is released. If your Product Key is correct, you can install and play; if not, you probably have to buy a new Product Key.
After installing the new patch, you have to submit your Product Key. As said before, it will be checked before you can play the game.
If you want to transfer to Steam's version,you can activate your game with the Product Key you have received when you bought the game.
The new patch contains about 20 sentences/paragraphs of reparations and improvements. This list will be launched, when the patch is released. For now, we're just going to show you some screens.
